MARCUS SHELTON
Right Hand Opening Bat
Marcus holds the Club's individual highest score of 171. He
is a hard hitting - if not classical batman who, on his day can take opposition
bowlers apart. He has a very safe pair of hands and it is a brave batsman who
takes on the challenge of clearing him on the long-off boundary.
A talented musician and raconteur, Marcus can always be
relied on to lift a discussion to a new level - whatever the subject.
Despite a couple of "guest games", he  partially
retired a couple of years ago but has seen the light and is now back in harness.
